Our Purpose

Funding Open-Source

We contribute 10% of the profits from each item sold to our supported
projects. These contributions are currently scheduled once a year in December, but we hope reduce this time to a quarterly timeframe soon.

The current contribution percentage is based on local regulations, but this still provides us with the opportunity to further grow the store with new designs that can reach more contributors.

We truly want to thank everyone who is supporting Open-Source through our products.

Our story

A simple idea put into practice

The World running on Linux and Open-Source is nothing new.
Corporations fund important tools and programs they use, while smaller or more niche ones are often being left in the dust and developers struggle to maintain their projects.

As we really value Open-Source, we decided to find a way in which we can help to increase funding of exciting projects, while also immediately offering something in return.

Out of this simple goal, HORN Originals was born. Sell an original and creative item that you can't get anywhere else and use the generated revenue to support Open-Source. This way, developers automatically receive passive donations which help them to create new and exciting things for everyone in return.

It's a win for everyone!

Which Open-Source projects do you support?

Are the items limited?

All items are already in production with limited quantities and may therefore sell out. Be quick if you want to secure your favorite piece!

Can I return my order?

We kindly ask you to shop carefully and not to order items in multiple sizes indiscriminately just to return them.

These returns are very bad for the environment and generate high costs.

However, all purchases are subject to a 30-day right of withdrawal and can be returned at your own expense.

You can easily request a return via this page or by contacting our support team at contact@horn-originals.com. Our team will then provide you with a delivery address to which you can return your order at your own expense. We will refund the cost of your order immediately.
